The White Rabbit Chronicles

Hey guys and gals! I just finished rereading The White Rabbit Chronicles by Gena Showalter. I hadn't read it for a while and I remembered just how much I absolutely loved them!Image result for the white rabbit chronicles

First off, these books are about a girl named Ali Bell. She loses her parents and her adorable little sister Emma in a car accident after coming home from her sister's ballet performance on Ali's birthday. The reason the car crashes is because Ali's dad can see something no one else can: zombies. Ali believes her father is some psycho that has kept them locked up ever since the girls were born, but realizes her father was telling the truth when she begins to see the monsters the night she loses her family.
After the accident, she is forced to move in with her grandparents and becomes and recluse till the first day of her junior year at a new school, where she runs into her now BFF Kat Parker after meeting at the hospital after the accident. She follows Kat until they run into Kat's on-and-off again boyfriend Frosty and his group of friends with the leader being Cole Holland, his best friend. When Ali and Cole meet eyes, they have a vision that no one else knows about until Ali learns the truth, Cole Holland sees and knows all about the zombies and is one of the people that hunts them dead. Cole follows Ali and eventually gets her to reveal that she can see the zombies and that they are the ones that caused the accident that ruined her life forever.
She joins Cole and his group of "slayers", as they call themselves, and begins hunting with them while trying to avoid the clutches of Anima, the company that experiments on zombies and wants the slayers gone so they can continue their work and eventually come up with the antidote to death, immortality.
Ali and Cole eventually become an item that has some ups and downs, and they are tested by betrayal, feuding slayer groups and the one company that threatens to destroy them all.

I hope those of you that check out this series will come to love it as much as I do! Just an FYI there is a companion e-book titled Kat in Zombieland that coincides with A Mad Zombie Party but you shouldn't read it until after you have read A Mad Zombie Party.
