Favorite Book to TV/Movie Adaptations
These are some of my favorite book to tv/movie adaptations. I know there are a bunch of books that have become tv shows/movies and I will be the first to admit that I have not seen them all and I do not want to see them all. These are just some of mine and I hope you all either check out the tv show/movie or the book or both if you haven't seen or read it yet!

- Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
- I absolutely love what they did in this movie and how they brought in aspects from the book like the different drawings and quotes. I also adore the actors and actresses brought in to play these roles, especially Nick Robinson, who is an all-time favorite of mine.

- Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
- This movie is wonderful! I absolutely love the chemistry. I have to admit that I didn't see this movie when it first came out because 1) I had no idea what it was about and 2) I hadn't read the books, but after I did and then watched the movie I fell in love with it. I keep rewatching it on Netflix because it is the perfect story of forbidden love and I just suck it up!
- Divergent by Veronica Roth
- I loved the movie adaptation of Divergent. Not Insurgent and Allegiant, sorry, because I thought they went a little much with the technology and the visual effects. Anyway, Divergent was great compared to the book. It had the right amount of dystopian feel to unrequited love and just enough betrayal to give a good story line without going overboard and completely rewriting the book to fit the movie.

- Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
- I usually don't read contemporary books but I read this when I was in like eighth grade and then I reread it before the movie came out and I am glad that it did the book justice. It still ends the same way as the book, unlike some adaptations I have seen, and uses amazing actors and actresses for the parts that they just click with the characters.

- The Shadowhunter Chronicles By Cassandra Clare
- I absolutely adore the TV show Shadowhunters. I love the actors and actresses and the way the change up the scenes from the books gives it a little different meaning than the books and I love it. I also enjoy the movie just not as much even though it more closely follows the books.

- Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
- Yes I know this is probably a cliche and this franchise is very old and done with, but yes I still love the Twilight books and movies. I don't necessarily enjoy the first movie because I think they are a little on the annoying awkward side in that movie but I love the others. My favorite is Breaking Dawn Part 2 because it captures the love that the entire family feels for each other and gives a happy ending to an immortal lifetime.
Again these are just some of my favorite adaptations. I have quite a few more I just think these are my top ones that I keep coming back to when I'm in a reminiscent mood or just want to rewatch a fav.
